Factory Reset Samsung Galaxy Ring SPH-M840 with 2 methods

Before a hard reset Samsung Galaxy Ring SPH-M840, some things you should do,  backup your important data if it is possible. Make sure you understand how to do a hard reset. If you do not understand you should take it to a service center or ask the person who understands . This is to anticipate hardware malfunction . You should know that under the hard reset will erase the data and restore the phone to factory default settings or commonly called factory reset.

When we have to do a hard reset ?

Soft Reset

If your device freezes or hangs, you may need to close applications or reinsert the battery and turn on the device to regain functionality. If your device is frozen and unresponsive, press and hold the Power button for more than 7 seconds to reboot. It will rebooting automatically.

Hard reset method 1

  1. select Apps from screen or Press Menu key
  2. select Settings
  3. select Backup & reset
  4. select Factory data reset
  5. select Reset device
  6. select Erase everything

Hard reset method 2

  1. Turn off the device
  2. Press dan hold Volume Up button and Power Button simultaneously till the screen turns up and Samsung logo blinks for two times.
  3. Then release the power key but keep the Volume Up key pressed till you see Android system recovery screen.
  4. select wipe data / factory reset using Volume Down key to highlight.
  5. Press home key.
  6. select reboot system now
  7. Press home key.
